USB Connection Setup – Fusion Maker, Edge, and Pro

Setting up a USB connection for the Fusion Pro, Fusion Edge, and Fusion Maker laser systems (models 16000–17000)
offers a direct and reliable method of communication between your laser and computer. This guide walks you through
the necessary steps, including proper cabling, setting adjustments, and the default IP configuration.

USB Connection Setup

1. Power ON the laser system.

2. Connect the laser to your computer using a USB cable.

3. Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the laser’s display panel.

   

4. Select Network from the menu.

   

5. Select USB as your connection type.

   Note: If the USB option doesn’t appear, press the Edit button at the bottom center of the screen.

   

6. The default IP address for a USB connection is 169.254.7.2.

   

7. Click the green arrow to complete the USB connection setup.
