The Y-belt controls the movement of the I-beam from the front and back of the machine. Before starting on this procedure, disconnect the power cord from the machine.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"uk-list uk-list-decimal uk-list-divider uk-list-large\">\n<li>\n<p>Remove both side panels. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"205\"><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Loosen the green captive screws on the right side of the X-beam. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"234\"><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remove the Air intake by pressing in the white ring and pulling out the hose.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"336\"><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Cut the electrical tie around the white ribbon cord.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\"><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Disconnect the white ribbon cord.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y5.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Loosen the green captive screw on the left side of the X-beam. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\"><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remove the X-beam. Use caution when pulling out the I-beam, avoid hitting the frame rail. The easiest way to pull the X-beam out is to get the left side out first then tilt the X-beam almost vertical, pulling the motor side out slowly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Removing the belt on the right side of the machine:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"uk-list uk-list-square uk-list-primary uk-list-striped\">\n<li>\n<p>a. Loosen the two nuts with a 5\/16 nut driver on the pulley tensioning system (Do Not remove these nuts).<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"168\"><\/li>\n<li>\n<p>b. Press the pulley to the left and simultaneously tighten the top nut. Tighten the bottom nut. The belt should be slack.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>c. Remove the four screws on the X-beam bracket. Remove the plates. The belt will come out easily.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"316\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Replacing the belt on the left side of the machine:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"uk-list uk-list-square uk-list-primary uk-list-striped\">\n<li>a. Loosen the two nuts with a 5\/16 nut driver on the pulley tensioning system (Do Not remove these nuts).<\/li>\n<li>b. Press the pulley to the right and simultaneously tighten the bottom nut. Tighten the top nut. The belt should be slack.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>c. Remove the four screws on the X-beam bracket. Remove the plates. The belt will come out easily.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y10.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"171\">\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>\n<p>Replace the belt with a new belt<\/p>\n<ul class=\"uk-list uk-list-square uk-list-primary uk-list-striped\">\n<li>\n<p>a. Put the right side of the belt into the left side of the X-Beam bracket with the grooves of the belt toward the floor. Screw in the plate.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y11.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"160\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>b. Take the left end and loop it around the left silver pulley.<\/p>\n<p>For the right side of the machine, loop the belt around the smaller spindle.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y12.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"231\"><\/li>\n<li>\n<p>For the left side of the machine, loop around small silver spindle.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y13.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\"><\/li>\n<li>c. Bring the left end of the belt to the left side of the machine and loop it around the black pulley.<\/li>\n<li>d. Push both X-beam brackets to the back of the machine to ensure the X-beam fits straight<\/li>\n<li>e. Place the left end of the belt into the right side of the X-beam bracket and screw in the plate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Loosen the two nuts on the pulley tensioning system with a 5\/16 nut driver. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/assets\/img\/mini_y14.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"503\" height=\"230\"><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Gently push the pulley out to tighten the belt.
