{"id":18010,"date":"2024-09-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/laser-machine\/fusion-pro\/getting-started\/power-supply_pro\/"},"modified":"2024-09-24T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T06:00:00","slug":"power-supply_pro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/support.epiloglaser.com\/staging\/laser-machine\/fusion-pro\/power-electrical\/power-supply_pro\/","title":{"rendered":"Power Supply Replacement"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 id=\"Remove-Old-Power-Supply\">Remove Old Power Supply<\/h2>\n<p>Now move to the rear of the machine.<\/p>\n<p>Using the 5\/32&#8243; Allen Wrench, remove the screws securing the upper rear panel to access the Power Supply.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Locate the Power Supply under the access panel.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_02.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now carefully disconnect all of the wires plugged into the back of the power supply by pressing down on the latch that connects each wire to the power supply.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Power Supply is mounted to the machine by four 5\/32&#8243; Allen screws. There are two in the front, and two in the rear of the assembly. The two screws in the rear are captive screws that only need to be loosened. The two screws in the front are removable. Remove them using the 5\/23 Allen Wrench.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_04.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_05.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once the four screws have been removed, pull the power supply straight out of the back of the machine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_06.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Install-New-Power-Supply\">Install New Power Supply<\/h2>\n<p>Now it\u2019s time to install the replacement power supply.<\/p>\n<p>Place the power supply in the machine so that the rear captive screws line up with the mounting brackets on the power supply.<\/p>\n<p>Tighten the two rear screws using the 5\/32&#8243; allen wrench, followed by replacing the two screws in the front, making sure the power supply is secure.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_07.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now reconnect each of the wires back into the power supply.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_08.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Replace the upper rear panel on the machine by tightening all of the screws that secure it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_09.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Following the replacement, the machine will need to update its peripherals.<\/p>\n<p>Turn On Plug in the machine and power it on.<\/p>\n<p>Once the machine has booted up, select the settings menu in the upper right corner of the screen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_10.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then press \u201cProgram\u201d on the Settings Menu.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_11.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Under the list of peripherals, deselect everything except \u201cPower Supply\u201d, then press \u201cUpdate\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_12.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once the update is complete, the screen will prompt you to Power Cycle the machine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion-pro_power-supply-replacement_13.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Turn the machine off and back on again.
