top access panel on the right side of the machine by using a 5\/32\u201d hex key to turn the black panel locks \u00be of the way counter-clockwise.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_04.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Remove-Safety-Module\">Remove Old Safety Module<\/h2>\n<p>Locate the Laser Safety Module inside of the engraver.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_05.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The top of the Laser Safety Module can be seen on the top of the right side of the machine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_06.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The module case and connections are accessible from below.<\/p>\n<p>You will see four pairs of screws on the module.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_07.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Each pair consists of one case screw and one mounting screw.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_08.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The mounting screws are positioned toward the back of the machine relative to the case nuts.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_09.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Use a 5\/16\u201d nut driver to remove the four mounting screw nuts.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_10.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Carefully slide the module down off the screws.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_11.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_12.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On one end of the module are the laser tube connections.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_13.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If your machine has a CO2 laser tube, remove the 8-Pin connector that resembles an Ethernet or Telephone jack.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_14.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If your machine has a fiber laser tube, remove the larger connector using a Phillips head screwdriver.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_15.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_16.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the other end of the module, use a flat head screwdriver to remove the two remaining connectors.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_17.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_18.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_19.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_20.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Set the old safety module aside.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Install-Safety-Module\">Install New Safety Module<\/h2>\n<p>Attach the connectors to the new safety module.<\/p>\n<p>Use a Phillips head screwdriver to attach the fiber laser tube connector.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_21.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then insert the CO2 laser tube connector.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_22.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Use a flat head screwdriver to attach the two remaining connectors on the other end of the module.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_23.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Slide the module up onto the mounting screws and use a 5\/16\u201d nut driver to secure the module with the nuts you removed earlier.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_24.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Reinstall-Panel\">Reinstall Panel<\/h2>\n<p>Replace the top access panel on the right side of the machine by using a 5\/32\u201d hex key to turn the black panel locks \u00be of the way clockwise.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_safety-module_25.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\"
