Clip the strap on to any metal part of the machine. Start by removing the screw in the white nylon fastener which secures the air assist tube to the machine. Then press in on the white ring and pull the black tubing away (the nylon fastener will remain secured to the tube).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Remove the nylon fastener.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/zing_x-axis-assembly-replacement_17.jpg\" alt=\"Unscrewing the nylon Air Assist tube fastener.\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Remove the Air Assist tube.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/zing_x-axis-assembly-replacement_18.jpg\" alt=\"Unplugging the Air Assist tube.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Remove the flex cable clamp by removing the two Phillips screws.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Remove the flex cable clamp.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/zing_x-axis-assembly-replacement_19.jpg\" alt=\"Unscrewing the flex cable clamp at the back right of the machine.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Remove the flex cable by pressing in on the cable lock and pulling the flex cable towards you.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Remove the flex cable.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/zing_x-axis-assembly-replacement_20.jpg\" alt=\"Removing the flex cable in the back right of the machine.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Gently remove the x-axis assembly through the opening on the left side of the machine. Be mindful of the flex cable and air assist tube as you remove these items.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Carefully pull the x-axis assembly through the left side of the machine.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/zing_x-axis-assembly-replacement_21.jpg\" alt=\"The x-axis assembly part-way out of the machine.\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Install-X_Axis-Assembly\">Install New X-Axis Assembly<\/h2>\n<p>Slide your new x-axis assembly in the left side of the machine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Slide the new x-axis assembly in the left side of the machine.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/zing_x-axis-assembly-replacement_22.jpg\" alt=\"The x-axis part-way in the machine.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Place the assembly back on its mounting points, aligning the green captive screws.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Align the green captive screws with the screw holes.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/zing_x-axis-assembly-replacement_23.jpg\" alt=\"Lining up the green captive screws with the mounting brackets.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Starting on the left side, loosely install the two green captive screws.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Loosely install the two green captive screws\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/zing_x-axis-assembly-replacement_24.jpg\" alt=\"Screwing in the left green captive screws.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Move to the right side and loosely install the front green captive screw. Move the rail to the rear of the machine and install the remaining green captive screw. Push the display unit all the way into the slots until it is fully seated.
