\/><\/p>\n<p>Shut off the laser and remove the power cord from the machine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_04.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Remove the top access panel on the left side of the machine by using a 5\/32\u201d hex key to turn the black panel locks \u00be of the way counter-clockwise.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_05.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_06.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Remove-Front-Sensor\">Remove Old Front Sensor<\/h2>\n<p>Locate the front sensor and disconnect the black connector that connects the sensor to the rest of the wiring.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_07.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the sensor in place.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_08.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_09.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The silver switch guard on the left side of the sensor will come loose once the screw is removed, so be sure not to lose it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_10.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Use a 5\/16\u201d nut driver to remove the plastic clamp holding the sensor wires down in the track running alongside the y-axis.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_11.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Slide the wires out of the clamp.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_12.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Set the old sensor, the clamp, and the switch guard aside.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Install-Front-Sensor\">Install New Front Sensor<\/h2>\n<p>Use a Phillips head screwdriver to insert the two screws and secure the new sensor and the switch guard to the side of the y-axis.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_13.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Be sure to affix the switch guard on the new sensor\u2019s left side.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_14.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Connect the black connector.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_15.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Slide the sensor wires into the plastic wire clamp and use a 5\/16\u201d nut driver to reaffix the clamp.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_16.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_17.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Remove-Rear-Sensor\">Remove Old Rear Sensor<\/h2>\n<p>Now let\u2019s replace the rear sensor.<\/p>\n<p>Disconnect the black connector that connects the rear sensor to the rest of the wiring.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_18.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_19.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the sensor in place.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_20.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/fusion_y-axis-sensors_21.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Set the old sensor and the switch guard aside.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"installnewrearsensor-fusion\">Install New Rear Sensor<\/h2>\n<p>Use a Phillips head screwdriver to insert the two screws and secure the new sensor and the switch guard to the side of the
