\n This guide walks you through replacing the camera cable on a G100 laser system. Only perform this procedure if the camera cable has failed and replacement is absolutely necessary.<\/strong> Several steps require removing panels and tilting the machine on its back which requires two people. Use caution and follow all safety notes carefully.\n <\/p>\n

Removal<\/h2>\n

  1. \n Power on the machine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Allow the machine to complete startup normally.<\/p>\n

  2. \n Raise the galvo platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This provides better access for later steps.<\/p>\n

  3. \n Power off and disconnect the machine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Turn the system off completely and disconnect the power cable before removing any panels.<\/p>\n

    Straightening the track will help when pulling the cable out through the bottom.<\/p>\n

  11. \n Tilt the machine onto its back and remove the side cover.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Use two people to avoid injury and protect the machine.<\/p>\n

  14. \n Verify the cable is free, then feed it out the bottom of the machine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Cut any remaining zip ties holding the cable and pull it completely free.<\/p>\n

    Installation<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. \n Feed the new cable up through the bottom of the machine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Route the cable through the opening and up into the interior, matching the original path.<\/p>\n

    2. \n Reconnect the cable to the control board.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Ensure the connector seats fully and securely.<\/p>\n

    3. \n Reinstall the side cover.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Ensure the cable sits naturally in the channel.<\/p>\n
