This guide covers replacing the table (z-axis) belt on the Fusion Maker, Fusion Edge and Fusion Pro 24 and 36. The belt runs around the four lead screw pulleys under the table and is tensioned by the table motor.
Parts Required
- RC0596 – Belt, Table, Z24 (24 x 12 table)
- LC0504 – Belt, Table 24×24 (24 x 24 table)
- LC0726 – Belt, Table, 36×24 (36 x 24 table)
Tools / Materials Required
- 5/32" Allen Wrench
- Pencil or Marker
Safety First: Ensure the engraver is completely powered off and the power cord is disconnected before removing any panels or touching internal components.
Table Belt Removal
Turn Off Engraver
Turn off the engraver.
Disconnect from Power
Unplug the engraver from its power source.
Remove Right Panel
Remove the right panel of the engraver.
Remove Front Panel and Crumb Tray
Remove the front access panel and the crumb tray of the engraver.
Mark the Motor Position
Use a pencil or marker to mark the engraver chassis at the leading edge of the table motor bracket (shown in red). This mark is used to set the belt tension during installation.
Disconnect Motor Harness
Disconnect the table motor electrical harness.
Release Belt Tension
Loosen, but do not remove, the table motor tensioner thumbscrew (circled in red) to release the tension on the table belt.
Remove Motor Mount Screws
Loosen and remove the four 5/32" Allen screws on the table motor mount (circled in red).
Remove the Table Motor
Remove the table motor assembly.
Free the Belt from the Pulleys
Press the table belt flat against the bottom of the engraver chassis and slip it out from under each lead screw pulley.
Remove the Belt
Once the belt is free of every lead screw pulley, remove it from the engraver.
Table Belt Installation
Place the New Belt
Place the new table belt in the bottom of the engraver.
Wrap the Lead Screw Pulleys
Press the belt flat against the bottom of the engraver chassis and slip it under each lead screw pulley, with the toothed side of the belt wrapping around the pulley. Repeat for all four lead screw assemblies.
Table Belt Routing
The new belt (green) wraps around each lead screw pulley and the motor opening as shown for your table size.

Feed the Motor Opening
Insert the belt into the opening for the table motor, leaving enough slack for the belt to wrap around the motor drive pulley when the motor is installed.
Install the Table Motor
Install the table motor with the belt around its drive pulley. Install, but do not fully tighten, the four 5/32" Allen screws on the motor mount.
Connect Motor Harness
Connect the table motor electrical harness.
Tension the Belt
Begin tightening the table motor tensioner thumbscrew to tension the belt.
Align With the Mark
Keep tightening the thumbscrew until the motor bracket lines up with the mark made in step 5. Then tighten the four 5/32" Allen screws on the motor mount.
Install Front Panel and Crumb Tray
Install the front access panel and the crumb tray of the engraver.
Install Right Panel
Install the right panel of the engraver.
Power On
Reconnect the engraver to power and turn it on.
