220VAC Power Connections: Core End Type and Photo

What type of power cord do I need to run on 220VAC?

Introduction

Epilog’s laser systems are equipped with auto-switching power supplies that accommodate input voltages ranging from 110 to 240 volts at 50–60Hz. We recommend using a dedicated 15A circuit breaker regardless of the operating voltage to ensure stable and reliable performance.

For Systems Operating on 220V in the United States

The standard configuration typically includes a power cord terminated with a NEMA L6-15P plug and mates with a NEMA L6-15R receptacle (Hubbell HBL4570C or equivalent). This type of plug and receptacle may also be available at local electrical supply stores or hardware retailers.

Note for 200-Watt Fusion Pro Systems

The 200-watt Fusion Pro requires a higher power draw and is shipped with a power cord terminated with a NEMA L6-20P plug. This plug must be connected to a NEMA L6-20R receptacle on a dedicated 20A circuit. Please ensure your installation site meets this requirement prior to setup.

International Shipments (220V)

For international customers using 220V power, all systems are shipped with a power cord that does not include a plug. This allows the end user to install a plug or hardwire the system in accordance with local electrical standards and regulations.
