This guide provides step-by-step instructions for removing and replacing the X-Axis Belt in a large-aperture Fusion Pro 48 laser system. Follow each step carefully to ensure a safe and efficient procedure. Always disconnect power before beginning any maintenance.
Replacement Procedure

Power off the machine and disconnect the power cable.

Remove the right and left side panels.

Move the X-Axis rail to the center of the machine.

Loosen the screws securing the tensioner bracket.

Loosen the main tensioner adjustment screw.

Remove the autofocus switch from the carriage assembly.

Move the lens carriage to the far right side of the machine.

Remove the inner belt clamp screws on the left side of the carriage.

Remove the belt from the machine.
-
Detach the belt clamp from the removed belt.

Use tape to attach one end of the new belt to the old belt.

Attach the belt clamp to the free end of the new belt.

Remove the inner belt clamp screws on the right side.

Move the lens carriage to the left.

Remove the right-side belt clamp from the old belt.

Pull the new belt through by gently guiding the old belt across the X-Axis rail.

When the taped section reaches the right side, separate the belts and attach the clamp to the right end of the new belt.

Attach the new belt to the carriage assembly.

Reinstall the autofocus switch.

Reinstall the right and left side panels.
